Young Children’s Program (YCP)

The Young Children’s Program is designed to meet the unique needs of toddlers, who are often ready for challenges and experiences beyond home day-care, but still need a small group environment to thrive and feel secure. The YCP provides low student/teacher ratios that create a warm family atmosphere and rich environment. This enables teachers to provide learning experiences based on each child’s individual learning styles, personalities, strengths and challenges

Preschool Program (PS)

At the preschool, children experience pre-academic subjects through the world of their classrooms and outdoor spaces. We emphasize a purposefully symbol-rich and sensory-rich environment that includes blocks, fine motor manipulatives, dramatic play, books, art, music, creative movement, cooking, gardening, science and so much more!

TES children build a foundation of literacy through daily conversations and activities with teachers and peers including sharing books, singing songs and writing and reading grocery lists, stories, and notes to friends or family.

They build a foundation of mathematics including numeracy, geometry and measurement by counting their own steps, cooking, painting shapes, gardening, and other activities such as tracking the number of mornings a butterfly has been inside its chrysalis.
